We're providing an easy to setup SPK618 HDMI adapter at no cost during the warranty period as a permanent solution for this issue to customers who are experiencing this type of issue with their Denon A/V receivers supporting 4K/120 and 8K/60 video resolutions (See list of models affected below).

The SPK618 HDMI adapter is designed to remedy the compatibility issue between Denon A/V receivers supporting 4K/120 and 8K/60 video resolutions and gaming consoles that support 4K/120 and 8K/60 video resolution output.

Please note: This solution works only with the models listed below that are having problems working with some gaming consoles at 4k/120. Consumers with non 8K Denon AVR models should NOT order the SPK618.

You will NOT need this adapter unless you plan on running the latest gaming consoles at 4K/120 or 8K video resolutions through your AV receiver.

    Affected Models:

    AVR-A110
    AVR-X6700H
    AVR-X4700H
    AVR-X3700H
    AVR-X2700H
    AVR-S960H

To receive the SPK618 adapter, go to www.denon.com/hdmiadapter and fill out the form with the required information (*).

In the box, you will find the adapter, the power supply and an additional HDMI cable, which you’ll need to connect the adapter to your system.

Once received, you'd need to connect this adapter between your 8K/60 or 4K/120 compatible game console and your AV receiver using certified ultra high-speed HDMI cables (One cable is provided with the adapter).
